If you’re planning a trip to the Eternal City, the Elegante apartment is a spacious five-bedroom apartment with an excellent location in the Prati neighborhood in Rome. This beautiful apartment is named for its elegant style just as much as its address in Prati, an incredibly central area that’s delightfully just off the tourist radar. With tree-lined avenues, whimsical Art Nouveau buildings, and excellent shopping and dining, this is an upscale neighborhood that’s often considered one of Rome’s best-kept secrets. With plenty of space to relax at home for a family or group, Elegante is the perfect spot to enjoy a taste of the real Roman lifestyle!
Full of Italian style from the moment you step inside, the Elegante has a large entry foyer with ornate marble tiled floors that continue through much of the entire apartment. Antique decor and artwork create the setting for a truly refined stay. From the foyer, to the left you’ll find a large living room with two seating areas, a separate formal dining room and a modern kitchen.
While there’s an abundance of trendy and popular restaurants to choose from in the neighborhood, you’ll also be tempted to gather with family and friends in the stunning dining room. Decorated in rich tones, the table is made of a gorgeous deep blue marble and has a classical style that complements the Venetian glass chandelier.
One of the pleasures of being in Italy is picking up fresh produce at the local market or planning your own relaxed evening at home with the most delicious salami and cheeses. With a large kitchen and plenty of counter space, you can get the family together for cooking or enjoying meal prep with friends over a good glass of Italian wine. This neighborhood features a real great farmer’s market for the freshest local foods.
Ideal for large families or groups, this apartment has five beautiful bedrooms, each one stylishly decorated and comfortable. Two of the bedrooms feature sumptuous king size beds while two more have singles that can be joined to form extra wide queen beds and the final charming room has a single bed. Large windows fill the rooms with light and two of the bedrooms even open to a narrow balcony.
When you’re ready to head out to explore, Elegante has a wonderfully central location for exploring Rome. If you’re not familiar with Prati, that’s precisely what makes it such a special neighborhood. It manages to feel semi-undiscovered even though it’s located in the historic center with the Vatican and St. Peter’s nearby in one direction and the Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona just across the Tiber the other direction. Built up primarily in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, this affluent area is an intriguing blend of architectural styles, including the grand “Stile Umbertino” buildings along with Italy’s unique Art Nouveau style.
Stroll along and shop on the stylish Via Cola di Rienzo where Romans love to shop. The location feels remarkably made for Romans, but is still so central. Just head one direction on Via Cola di Rienzo near the Elegante and you’ll walk right to the Vatican. In the other direction you’re just a couple of blocks from the Tiber and the Ponte Regina Margherita that leads directly to the Piazza del Popolo. Even better, because of the bend in the river it means that it is actually the same walking distance to Piazza Navona as from the Spanish Steps.
