Shopping malls nearby:
1- Maremagnum
This mall is about 5.8 KMs away from the beach.Â
There are some good shops here. You may get food, drinks, toiletries, and clothing all in one place. Nice view, and it’s also not too noisy up there. But exercise caution when ascending the bridge; the planks are loose and may fall off if someone walks in front of you.
2-Centre Comercial Diagonal Mar
Just 8 minutes driving via B-10, you can reach this shopping center.
The conference center, hotels, and beach area are all within walking distance of this fantastic retail center, which is located in a superb position. Open long hours. Very contemporary and with a large variety of shops available. Please take note that relatively extended opening hours pertain to restaurants and the food court area, whereas stores normally remain open until 9 p.m., with the exception of on Sundays when the great majority of them are closed. Very Enjoyable.
3- Arenas Mall
Only 4.7 kilometers far from the beach, you can access the Arenas shopping center.
It is well worth your time to come here and explore Barcelona. Good 360 view. It’s convenient to have shops and restaurants on the roof. Accessibility and pricing that is reasonable. You may enter the retail center at no charge by using the escalators.

Barceloneta Beach Activities
- Â Explore Port Olmpic and the Promenade that connects it.
The history of the Port may be traced back to the 1992 Summer Olympics, for which the facility was built. It is now a magnificent harbor where visitors can rest and take in the sights of the ocean and beach. The Piex Olmpic, a fish sculpture built by Frank Gehry, is on display in the Olympic Park in London.
The promenade that runs down the beach from the port to W Barcelona is also accessible from here.
Barceloneta Beach Weather
Summer: As of mid-June through early August, temperatures can reach 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit). The sea breeze makes the heat bearable during the day, but at night it is thick and stifling.
In spite of the city’s geographical location, it is not immune to heat waves that can impact other areas of Spain, with a maximum temperature of 34/35 °C (93/95 °F). In August 2003 and August 2010, the heat record was 37.5 °C (99.5 °F).
Spring and Autumn: The weather is moderate and wet, although there are also plenty of bright days during these times. It is not uncommon for fall rains to be very heavy.
Winter: If the ocean isn’t your first goal, winter in Barcelona is a terrific time to visit. Sunny but cool days are the norm. Because of the city’s proximity to the water, even in the dead of winter, temperatures in Barcelona may become a little chilly.

Barceloneta Beach Facts
- A large part of La Barceloneta remained submerged until around the year 1600. The building of Port Vell necessitated the construction of a dike that linked the island of Maians to the city, and the landfill was used to build the neighborhood.
- Until the mid-18th century, La Barceloneta was mostly an uninhabited area. Despite the dangerous seas, fishermen were the first to settle in this section of Barcelona. When the first residences were built in 1754, inhabitants began to populate the area, which became a hub for the operations of the port.
- Don’t Wear Your Swim Suit on the Street!Â
The months of May through October are the warmest and sunniest of the year in Barcelona, thanks to the city’s Mediterranean climate. It’s a seaside town, but it’s also a cultural hotspot, thanks to the nearby 4.2-kilometer stretch of coastline. Even if you’re going to the beach, don’t walk the streets in a bikini or swimming trunks, even if you’re on vacation. On the beachside promenade, you can get away with it, but otherwise, you should cover yourself. Besides being deemed offensive, it is also against the law. If you’ve found going around in skimpy beachwear, you might face a fine of €100 to €200. This includes guys who are caught roaming around bare-chested in shorts.
- Don’t Light Up Just Anywhere.
As in many European towns, Barcelonans have a fondness for smoking. In any case, it’s become more of a habit since the 2nd of January, 2011. As far back as 2006, even after the first anti-smoking regulations were enacted, the city was filled with individuals smoking cigarettes in the open air. Smoking is no longer as prevalent as it once was, though, since the government has taken a hard stance on the issue. Public places and public transportation, including taxis, have strict no-tobacco policies that extend to the use of tobacco products. Tobacco smoking is prohibited in public locations such as workplaces and train stations, pubs, restaurants, and nightclubs. Hospitals, health facilities, and schools are among the places where smoking is prohibited. Some of us will be relieved, but those who are addicted to secondhand smoke will be frustrated. The only places where smoking is permitted are restaurant patios, private houses and balconies, sports stadiums, parks, and hotel rooms if the owner approves.
- Avoid Eating at Tourist Traps on La Rambla
Barcelona’s La Rambla, with its majestic architecture and diverse selection of cafés and restaurants, is an ideal location in the city center. The city’s most popular tourist destination, however, is rife with rip-off establishments. Off-the-beaten-path options are plenty if you’re searching for a more authentic and affordable local experience.
- Act Like a Local, Not a Tourist
Throughout the year, Barcelona is a popular destination for travelers, especially during the summer months. Despite the fact that this guideline is universal, behaving like a tourist is a surefire way to draw unwelcome attention. Make sure you don’t draw attention to yourself by waving about your camera, map, or money, and don’t stick out in the middle of the city.
Barceloneta Beach At Nights
There are “xiringuitos” (beach bars) along the promenade, but I would steer clear of the beach itself. Even if it isn’t inherently “hazardous,” it may be. Never stroll alone in dark alleys, especially if you’re a woman, and the same holds true for the beach.
It is possible to discover beach bars in the following locations: W Hotel, La Barceloneta (where the buildings begin), and Olympic Port (before and after the marina).
